Play Active School
Play Active School is an initiative promoted by the Physical Education and Sport Office of the Territorial School Office of Forlì-Cesena, aimed at supporting and enhancing physical activity in primary schools across the province, particularly in the first, second, and third grades.
In the 2025/2026 school year, 71 classes are involved in the project. The initiative promotes the psychophysical well-being of children through movement, introducing an innovative model that brings teachers together with physical activity professionals in designing inclusive and engaging educational pathways.
Thanks to the collaboration with AUSL Romagna, the Network of Health-Promoting Schools, and various local partners, the project also involves families, strengthening the promotion of healthy lifestyles from early childhood. This shared commitment reinforces the role of the school as a strategic setting for building a lasting culture of well-being.
In line with its mission, the Wellness Foundation supports the project by contributing to the development of operational tools for teachers and to the dissemination of a culture of well-being in schools.
