Wellness Foundation at the ACSM Symposium with Technogym to Promote Exercise as Medicine

The Wellness Foundation took part in the Symposium organized by Technogym and the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), a major international event focused on the global initiative “Exercise is Medicine” and the role of physical activity in preventing and managing chronic diseases.
The event brought together medical, scientific, and academic representatives to explore how to integrate exercise assessment and prescription into everyday clinical practice, fostering a truly preventive and therapeutic approach to movement.
The Wellness Foundation reaffirmed its commitment to Education and the training of the medical-scientific community, promoting the culture of Wellness as a lifestyle and supporting the dissemination of evidence-based programs aimed at improving health through physical activity.
During the session dedicated to best practices, several experts and Foundation partners shared their experiences and projects related to implementing Exercise is Medicine in clinical and community settings.
Speakers included: Paul Aitchison (TLC HealthCare), Mattia Pirani (PRIME Center), Andrea Pece (MiCo), Andrea Passantino and Francesco Fanfulla (ICS Maugeri), Roberta Balestrino, Nicolò Pecorelli, and Valentina Fazio (IRCCS San Raffaele), Nicola Sammali and Nicola Grazzi (Abcardio), Veronica Baioccato (Exercise is Medicine Italia).
The participation of these organizations highlights the strength of the network that the Wellness Foundation has fostered for years, connecting academia, healthcare, and industry to promote a scientific, shared, and sustainable approach to wellbeing.
