Wellness at hand! Discover the content designed for all children and teenagers and.... Pursue Wellness!
Wellness4Education is a free educational program promoted by the Wellness Foundation, as part of the Milano Cortina 2026 Gen26 Education Programme, under the patronage of the Healthy Cities Network and with the support of Technogym.
With this project, the Wellness Foundation renews its commitment to promoting a widespread, sustainable, and accessible culture of well-being, starting with younger generations.
The program is aimed at lower secondary schools throughout Italy and is designed to educate students about well-being and healthy lifestyles, while also raising awareness among teachers and providing them with practical tools to help students develop awareness, autonomy, and healthy habits in their daily lives.
At the heart of Wellness4Education lies the fundamental concept that health is built every day, starting within educational environments, through conscious choices that involve the body, mind, relationships, and the environment.
In an era marked by sedentary lifestyles, hyperconnectivity, and poor eating habits, the project aims to convey to younger generations the culture of Wellness as an integrated approach to well-being.
This means promoting:
- Regular physical activity
- A healthy diet, based on balanced and mindful nutrition
- A positive mindset and respectful, constructive relationships
Promoting a culture of well-being among young people means investing in the development of essential life skills.
Through Wellness4Education, schools become privileged spaces for holistic growth, where students — guided by teachers and adult role models — learn to take care of themselves at all times of the day: in class, while studying, at home, and during their free time.
The project addresses the main topics related to the promotion of health and well-being:
- the dimensions of well-being (physical, mental, and social) and their interconnections;
- physical activity as a tool for prevention and everyday well-being;
- healthy eating habits across the different stages of growth;
- mindful disconnection from digital devices;
- the importance of active breaks within the school context;
- self-listening and self-awareness as the foundations of personal balance;
- the connection between individual and collective health.
Wellness4Education offers schools a set of free, easy-to-use educational resources designed to promote active learning and student engagement.
The available materials include:
- A Teacher’s Guide with hands-on activities and classroom project ideas;
- A Multimedia Mind Map for dynamic, interactive lessons;
- An Active Break Sheet to help bring movement into the school day;
- The Wellness Game, designed for students and families to strengthen the connection between school and home;
- The “Wellness Pyramid” Sheet, a practical tool to build and reinforce healthy lifestyle habits.
