Ravenna Marathon
The Ravenna City of Art Marathon is the only one that unravels along a route that touches eight early Christian and Byzantine monuments recognised by UNESCO as World Heritage Sites. The only one to offer finishers mosaic medals, unique pieces of art and culture handmade using the Byzantine mosaic technique.
The event is part of the autumn calendar and is accompanied by a rich programme of appointments, initiatives, expos and events that extends throughout the weekend with the aim of raising awareness of the history, culture and gastronomic excellence of the area.
The start for the three races – Marathon, Half Marathon and Good Morning Ravenna 10.5 K – is in front of the Ravenna City Art Museum.
