Last week, an important roundtable discussion was hosted by CEOforLIFE and HRC International Group, in collaboration with Workday and D&P. The event provided a valuable opportunity for leaders and professionals to rethink leadership models through a lens of sustainability and innovation.
At the heart of the discussion was the awareness that workplaces can become true drivers of change, fostering healthy and active lifestyles for the well-being of employees and the communities they serve. In an increasingly sustainability-focused world, organizations are not just responsible for productivity—they also play a key role in supporting the mental and physical health of their people.
Fabrizio Rotondi and Giordano Fatali opened the discussion, emphasizing the importance of a concrete commitment to building a healthier and more sustainable future. The conversation featured contributions from Vincenzo Nunziata, President of Aeroporti di Roma; Danilo Cattaneo, CEO of Infocert and Vice President of Assintel; Marco Elefanti, General Director of the Agostino Gemelli University Hospital Foundation IRCCS; Stefano Pareglio, Chairman of Deloitte Climate & Sustainability and Full Professor at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore; Emilia Rio, Chief Operating Officer of the Fabbrica di San Pietro; Federica Alberti, Director of Wellness Foundation; Alessandro Camilleri, Central Director of Personnel and Organization at Gruppo Hera; Gianfranco Chimirri, Chief People Officer at SACE; Andrea Laudadio, Head of TIM Academy & Development at TIM; Gianluca Postiglione, CEO of D&P; Janina Benedetta Landau of Class CNBC; as well as Caterina Cenci and Guido Ciancio.
The speakers shared insights and best practices on leadership that integrates innovation, responsibility, and inclusion. Key topics included the adoption of inclusive technologies to overcome biases and create fairer workplaces, investment in generational diversity and the longevity economy to gain competitive advantages, and the promotion of employee well-being as a strategic asset for productivity and quality of life.
Spreading a culture of wellness is not just an added value—it is a necessity for building a healthier and more sustainable future. Companies that embrace this vision demonstrate enlightened leadership, capable of generating a lasting positive impact on both society and individuals.
